LinkUp aims to help Young People and Families who are in dispute

-> to talk through the possibilities

-> to find a solution

If you feel

-> you need support

-> you have an uncomfortable situation at home

-> you feel angry, frightened, intimidated or isolated

-> you have tried to sort it out

-> you have not been listened to

You can do one of the following

-> if you may need to move out of your home, go to MK Council and ask to speak to a "Housing Options Advisor" or call them on 01908 253481 for help. They can make an appointment for you to see us.

We can arrange to see you at Acorn House in Midsummer Boulevard, at home or at a mutually agreed local venue. Our appointments at Acorn House are normally between 11am to 1pm or 3pm to 4pm Monday to Thursday, but other times and days can be arranged.

In December 2007 we were awarded a Thames Valley Partnership "Young Citizen's Award" for this project. Since then we have actively developed the work and we have found we can usually help improve the situation !

After ongoing reviews with us, MK Council have agreed to continue funding this project into 2009. Splendid news !

Free - you will not pay for this service
Impartial - we do not judge anyone or take sides
Confidential - we will not pass on anything without your permission (subject to legal requirements)
Independent - we are not part of the Police, Council or any other organisation

Also remember - Mediation is entirely voluntary and not a legally binding process. All parties have the right to seek independent legal advice.
