Hospital asks visitors with Norovirus symptoms to stay away

Milton Keynes Hospital undertakes all precautions necessary to help contain this unpleasant stomach bug and would like to remind visitors to stay away if they have any symptoms or feel unwell.
A number of cases of the Norovirus have been identified in the community and anyone with symptoms of viral gastroenteritis, which causes sickness and diarrhoea, must not visit any part of the hospital until they have been symptom-free for 72 hours.

NHS Education South Central has awarded Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust £220,000 to develop clinical simulation skills training for doctors, nurses and other health professionals. The funding is set to be used to remodel part of the Post Graduate Centre and purchase state-of-the-art interactive manikins (mannequins that offer high quality realism for training purposes) and other life-like anatomical training models.
